Guangzhou International Neighborhoods

In 2022, Guangzhou launched 12 pilot international neighborhoods, including Ersha Island, Canton Tower, Shamian, Liede Subdistrict, Guangzhou Design Capital, Longhu Subdistrict, Airport Business and Trade Zone, Sunac Resort, Clifford Estates, Jiaomen River, Liuxi Hot Spring Tourism Resort , and Phoenix City, aiming to explore how these neighborhoods can drive the city's internationalization and help establish Guangzhou as a hub for international exchanges.

Ersha Island

The international neighborhood on Ersha Island is located in Baiyun Subdistrict, Yuexiu District, Guangzhou, covering an area of 1.26 square kilometers. It is bordered by Haixinsha Asian Games Park to the east, Haiyin Bridge to the west, the Pearl River to the south, and Zhudao Hotel to the north.

Canton Tower

The Canton Tower community in Chigang Subdistrict has been selected to serve as a pilot international neighborhood representing Guangzhou's Haizhu District. By leveraging the prominence of this landmark, the initiative aims to create a globally oriented urban space that enhances Guangzhou's international image and outreach.

Shamian Island

Shamian International Neighborhood is located in Liwan District, Guangzhou, covering an area of 0.30 square kilometers. It is bordered by Liu'ersan Road to the east, Zhujiang Tunnel to the west, Bai'etan of the Pearl River to the south, and Shaji Chong (stream) to the north.

Liede International Neighborhood

The Liede International Neighborhood is located in Liede Subdistrict, Tianhe District, Guangzhou, covering an area of approximately 3.5 square kilometers.

Design Capital of Guangzhou

The Design Capital of Guangzhou is located in the northern part of Baiyun New Town (downtown area), covering an area of approximately 1.27 square kilometers. Its eastern boundary runs along Xinshun Road (west of Tianrui Plaza), Huanan Expressway, Guangyun Road, Huangbian North Road, and the eastern edge of the Yunshan Shiyi Community.

Longhu Subdistrict

Longhu Subdistrict is located in the core area of China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City in the northern part of Huangpu District.

Airport Commercial and Trade Zone

Xinya Subdistrict, Huadu District, Guangzhou is actively advancing the Airport Commercial and Trade Zone's application to become a pilot international neighborhood, aiming to leverage its airport-adjacent location to drive economic and social development.

Guangzhou Sunac Resort

Located in the core CBD area of Huadu District, the Guangzhou Sunac Resort international neighborhood covers an area of approximately 2.2 million m², with a total investment of RMB 50 billion.

Clifford

Clifford International Neighborhood, located in the Zhongcun Subdistrict of Panyu District, Guangzhou, covers an area of around 4 km². It is bordered by Shiguang Road to the north and Hongfu Road to the south.

Jiaomenhe International Neighborhood

Jiaomenhe International Neighborhood is located in the central block of the Nansha area of the China (Guangdong) Pilot Free Trade Zone, covering an area of 1.98 square kilometers. It is bordered by Jinlong Road to the east, Shuangshan Avenue to the south, Jiaomenjiao to the west, and Siyanjiao to the north.

Liuxi Hot Spring Tourism Resort Zone

The Liuxi Hot Spring Tourism Resort Zone, an international neighborhood located in Conghua District, Guangzhou, covers an area of approximately 12 km², stretching from the Eco-design Town in the north to the Liuxi Hot Spring Plaza in the south.

Phoenix City

Located in the southern part of Yongning Subdistrict, Zengcheng District, Guangzhou, Phoenix City, an international neighborhood, covers an area of approximately 9.51 square kilometers.
