Starting July 15, China Southern Airlines and China Eastern Airlines have launched a free intercity transfer service in Guangdong. The service provides seamless connections between Terminals 2 and 3 of Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport and six cities across the province: Guangzhou, Foshan, Dongguan, Qingyuan, Huizhou, and Zhaoqing.

It will provide a direct connection between northwest China and Singapore via Guangzhou, adding fresh capacity to the busy Guangzhou-Singapore market. 9 Air is a Guangzhou-based low-cost airline and a subsidiary of Juneyao Air.

Guangzhou, Guangdong's provincial capital, has introduced a range of measures to streamline entry procedures, transport, payment, and city services for international visitors attending the 139th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair), which will open on April 15 in Guangzhou, according to a release of the Guangzhou Municipal Commerce Bureau on April 10.
