China is rolling out smoother entry procedures for international visitors, with two updates now taking effect in Guangdong. Beginning November 20, 2025, foreign travelers will be able to complete China's Arrival Card online in advance.
On November 12, the Guangnan Expressway (广南快速路), including the Haizhuwan Tunnel (海珠湾隧道) and the free southern connection line, opened for trial operation. Once fully operational, the expressway will enable travel between Guangzhou South Railway Station and the city center in just 15 minutes.
A dedicated sightseeing bus service will begin trial operations at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport on November 12, offering direct public access to the newly opened Terminal 3 (T3). The shuttle will connect existing Terminals T1 and T2 with the T3 facility, which launched on October 30.
On November 7, the "Million Talents, Wisdom in Guangzhou" speech and exchange event, guided by the Guangzhou Organizing Committee for the 15th National Games and hosted by the Guangzhou Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, was held at the Guangzhou Yuexiu International Congress Center.
To ensure the smooth operation of events related to the 15th National Games, including rehearsals, the torch relay, and the opening ceremony, adjustments will be made to Guangzhou's metro and bus services.
On November 3, the National Immigration Administration (Exit and Entry Administration of P.R. China) announced 10 immigration and exit-entry management service policy initiatives. Some policies related to Guangdong include adding 5 ports in the province as entry points for the 240-hour visa-free transit and promoting the application of intelligent exit-entry clearance at certain ports.
On November 2, Huacheng Subdistrict in Guangzhou's Huadu District came alive with music, performances, and cultural exchange as the newly branded Huacheng Street Foreign Language Volunteer Service Team officially launched at Sunac Mall.
