Chinese President Xi Jinping declared the 15th National Games open Sunday evening at the Guangdong Olympic Sports Center, marking the first time the country's premier multi-sport event has been jointly hosted by Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao.
Starting November 9, the cross-border ambulance transfer service between Guangzhou and Hong Kong has officially commenced. This "green channel for life" connecting Guangzhou's Nansha District and Hong Kong marks the entry of cross-boundary medical rescue cooperation in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area into a new stage. It provides comprehensive, efficient, professional, and safe medical support for patients in need of cross-border transfer.
Guangdong's economic output surpassed 12 trillion, 13 trillion, and 14 trillion yuan successively between 2021 and 2024, reaching 14.16 trillion yuan in 2024, ranking the highest in China for the 36th consecutive year, according to a press conference on November 6.
