A vibrant pre-loved items exchange event held on June 11 became a microcosm of community building in Guangzhou’s Nansha thriving international district.
The Global Highlights in Nansha - 2025 Jiaomenhe International Neighborhood Gala Night & Intangible Cultural Heritage(ICH) Theme Promotion Day will kick off at Nansha Jiaomen Park Square on the evening of June 14th. This event is not only a showcase of ICH but also a cultural dialogue that transcends time and space.
"Be gentle when adding the eyes to the tea pastries with the bamboo stick—look, it's come to life!" On May 11, during a language corner event at the Nansha Jiaomenhe International Neighborhood, the air was filled with the light fragrance of tea, and tables were full of brightly colored pastries.

As the Dragon Boat Festival approaches, the Liede Chong (Creek) came alive with splashing oars on May 10th! Over 30 international and local residents gathered in Guangzhou's Liede International Neighborhood for a cultural immersion – learning festival traditions, hand-painting paddles, and racing colorful dragon boats.
On April 25, the 2025 Sino-Global Youth Exchange Day was held at the Haoyi Tianhe Comprehensive Service Center in the Liede International Neighborhood (Hong Kong and Macao Community).
On April 24, the opening ceremony of the 7th term of Nansha Foreign Talent Chinese Class was held at the International Talent Port in Nansha, Guangzhou, bringing together expatriates for a new phase of Mandarin learning.
On Sept 15, Yongning Street, along with its partners, organized a cultural event highlighting the fusion of Chinese and foreign cultures in the internationalized district of Phoenix City.
On Feb 15, 2025, over the Lantern Festival weekend, a vibrant celebration of culture unfolded at Canton Place in Liede International Neighborhood.
On Feb 10, the "Enjoy Spring Festival in Flower City Guangzhou" City Tour for international friends, kicked off in the city.
Yuexiu district launched a vibrant Mid-Autumn carnival, complete with outdoor games, an ancient-style market, and traditional Chinese performances that delighted visitors on Beijing Road!
The Huacheng Sub-district Office hosted an event in the Dujuan Community to foster international cultural exchanges on Sept 7.
After four years of construction, Canton Tower Plaza has recently passed its final inspection and is set to open by the end of this year.
A meeting on the organization of Longhu Internationalized Neighborhood was held in Huangpu district on the morning of Sept 14.

On November 2nd, A Walk in Shamian Island to Experience Guangzhou (Portuguese-speaking Countries Youth Exchange Programme) was held in Shamian Island of Liwan District, Guangzhou.
To celebrate the upcoming festival, the Guangzhou Foreign Affairs Office, Tianhe District Government and Liede Community held a cultural exchange event in the Guangyue community of Tianhe District on September 23. About 60 international volunteers, as well as local residents and expats, participated in the event.
A Spring Festival culture exchange event was held in Longhu international district on Feb 3, attracting foreign talents from many countries to participate.
