Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport in South China's Guangdong province has launched a new facial recognition service for passengers taking domestic flights.
Passenger throughput at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport rebounded in July, which is the usual peak period for air travel.
China aims to finish the building of a world-class cluster of airports in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area by 2025.
The carbon management processes at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport have earned the second accreditation level of reduction by ACA.
Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport was awarded the "2020 Staff Service Excellence China" prize and was eighth on the "Best Airports 2020: 70 million plus passengers" list by Skytrax on May 11.
