The Nansha Branch of the Guangzhou Immigration Service Center was launched at the Nansha International Talent Port on Thursday (September 8) .

The Nansha Branch marks the first immigration-related facility opened in the Guangzhou district since the State Council unveiled a plan to deepen cooperation between Guangdong, Hong Kong, Macao, and the world earlier this year.

The centre will provide policy advice and services related to travel and residency issues, legal assistance, language, and culture, as well as consulting services regarding entrepreneurship, employment, research, and investment to foreign nationals in Nansha.

According to a spokesperson, the centre will raise the benchmark for immigration service standards in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and will further enhance the internationalisation of the district.
