Tianhe attracts Hong Kong, Macao youths

A total of 421 start-up projects from Hong Kong and Macao have settled in Tianhe, with 610 young talents from Hong Kong and Macao moving to Tianhe to pursue their career dreams, local media outlets reported on Feb 11.

In 2021, Tianhe supported establishing the Affiliated school of JNU(Jinan University) for Hong Kong & Macao Students, providing more than 300 students from Hong Kong and Macao with studying opportunities.

More than 50 youths from Hong Kong and Macao have moved into talent apartments in Tianhe.

The Hong Kong and Macao Youth Support Center in Tianhe district has provided services for Hong Kong and Macao youth 48 times and held four lectures on law popularization in the past year.

In the past four years, the Guangzhou Tianhe Hong Kong and Macao Youth Association has helped 223 Hong Kong and Macao youth innovation projects settle in Tianhe, serving more than 10,000 youths from Hong Kong and Macao.
