eguangzhou.gov.cn | Updated: 2021-04-20

What Guangzhou has presented in its voluntary local review (VLR) to the United Nations is one of the most impressive cases for the localization of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

The VLR has outlined several solutions that Guangzhou, as a major city in China, has launched to achieve its sustainable development goals, and other cities around the world may be interested in these.

Guido Schmidt-Traub is the senior consultant and former executive director of the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network.
