On October 27, the second phase of the 138th Canton Fair concluded. As of 5:00 PM on that date, the cumulative number of overseas buyers attending offline had reached nearly 240,000 from 223 countries and regions worldwide. This represents a 6.8% increase compared to the same period of the previous session, setting a new record.

Notably, significant growth was observed in buyer attendance from the European Union, the Middle East, the United States, and South America. The phase was attended by 140 overseas business delegations, reflecting a 9.3% increase.

A record 455 buyer delegations participated, including 328 organized by leading global enterprises such as Target (USA), Carrefour (France), and Nitori (Japan), marking an 8.5% growth.

The number of high-quality enterprises recognized as National High-tech Enterprises, Specialized, Refined, Distinctive, and Innovative (SRDI) "Little Giants," or Manufacturing Single Champions, exceeded 2,900—an increase of over 10% compared to the previous session and another record high.

Among the 2.075 million exhibited products, new products, green and low-carbon products, and products with independent intellectual property accounted for 24.6%, 26.3%, and 22.8%, respectively. From biodegradable materials to customized eco-friendly solutions, and from smart home devices to integrated green design, the abundant innovative achievements outlined a new picture of Chinese creativity reaching the world.

The second phase hosted 165 new product launch events, providing a platform for the debut and first exhibition of new, smart, and green products. Supporting activities, including a domestic sales promotion event for high-quality export products, were held to help companies expand their markets.

Focusing on "Quality Home Living," the second phase continued to drive the Canton Fair's development towards innovation, intelligence, and sustainability. Among the over 10,000 exhibiting enterprises, 41.2% adopted low-carbon production modes, highlighting a stronger emphasis and greater momentum for green development.

The third phase of the 138th Canton Fair is scheduled to run from October 31 to November 4. This phase will cover an exhibition area of 515,000 square meters with approximately 25,000 booths. It will centrally display products across five major sectors—toys & maternity & infant, fashion, home textiles, office supplies, and leisure & health—comprising 21 exhibition categories. Over 12,000 enterprises will participate, including more than 2,900 high-quality enterprises.
