The 2024 Understanding China Conference (Guangzhou) is being held in Guangzhou, South China's Guangdong province from Dec 2 to 4. Zhang Jianping, deputy director of the academic committee at the Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation, noted that the US trade war harms others without benefiting itself.
