The Asia-Pacific Media Forum will be held in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, on September 5. The theme for this year is "Building a Path to Shared Prosperity for the Asia-Pacific Community: Media Consensus and Action."

When visiting Nansha Port in Guangzhou on September 3, Bui Minh Long, editor-in-chief of of Báo Tiền Phong, Vietnam, praised the port's full automation. He suggested that Vietnam could learn from the model to cut time and production costs and make its goods more competitive.

Shifna Ahmed, a journalist with the Public Service Media of the Maldives, noted that port operations in the Maldives still rely mainly on manual labor and said the Maldivian government could learn from projects built in China.
