The APEC First Senior Officials' Meeting and Related Meetings (SOM1), the first event of APEC China 2026, are being held in Guangzhou from February 1 to February 10.

Delegates from 21 member economies visited the capital of Guangdong Province during the meeting.

After visiting Fushan Circular Economy Industrial Park and Jingxia Village, Ivy Ji, Senior Director of Operations of APMEN Operational Center, praised Guangzhou's green development model, saying it's a great example for all APEC members to learn from.
