A new wave of cultural-creative products is turning heads at the 140th Canton Fair, blending the fair's seven decades of heritage with contemporary design and smart technology. The collection falls into three strands: commemorative pieces marking the fair's milestones, everyday items reimagined with a tech twist and seasonal lifestyle products rooted in Chinese craft traditions.
These are not souvenirs in the conventional sense. They are designed to be used, worn and lived with, a sign of how Chinese creativity is moving from display cases into daily life, and from local markets onto the global stage.
The fair's third and final phase runs from October 31 to November 4, shifting the spotlight to toys, maternity and baby products, fashion, home textiles, stationery, and health and leisure goods.
