The application must be initiated by the buyer and is subject to review by the organizer. New buyers must complete buyer pre-registration (https://buyer.cantonfair.org.cn) and apply for an Overseas Buyer Badge before applying for accompanying personnel badges.

Accompanying personnel are classified as assistants or interpreters. Each buyer can apply for up to two accompanying personnel per phase, with no more than one of each type.

Interpreters are required to provide proof of relevant qualifications, such as CATTI or NAETI certificates, or a degree in a foreign language from a higher-education institution on the Chinese mainland.

The fee is 300 yuan per day, plus a 50-yuan administrative fee. Fees are non-refundable once the badge is scanned at an entry gate.

Accompanying personnel must genuinely work with the buyer who applied for them. Violations may result in the confiscation of badges and other penalties under Canton Fair regulations.

If an accompanying person's application records from previous sessions show any irregularities, an alert will be triggered. Those who trigger the alert must submit additional supporting documents for review.
