Guangdong Province's first global cross-border trade industrial cluster was launched on July 30 at the Global Cross-border Trade Industrial Cluster Ecosystem Conference held in Guangzhou's Nansha District. The conference drew more than 1,500 entrepreneurs, investors and industry experts. 

The cluster, operated by Nansha Kaijian Group, leverages blockchain and artificial intelligence to integrate foreign trade services, supply chain management, cross-border payments, compliant collection and payment services, logistics and warehousing. It aims to provide one-stop digital solutions for companies expanding overseas.

At the event, the Guangdong Token Trading and Service Center was also inaugurated. Established under the guidance of the provincial data authority and built on the Guangzhou Data Exchange, the center supports cross-border data flows and explores new token-based trading models, serving as a core hub in the development of the Greater Bay Area Data Special Zone.

Several strategic cooperation agreements were signed. Zhongke Huizhi partnered with payment firms including Lakala and Nium to provide exporters with streamlined compliance and cross-border fund management services. The cluster's operating company signed MOUs with six trade associations from Macao, Hong Kong and Guangzhou to expand market channels.

In the automotive sector, GAC Import and Export signed a deal with Hangzhou Dafengche to upgrade the vehicle export industry chain. Separately, Guangdong Port and Shipping and Sinotrans Shipping agreed on a supply chain project for the Greater Bay Area. The region's first vehicle export preparation center located within a port terminal was also unveiled at a sub-venue.

Customs data show that Nansha's foreign trade totaled 295.99 billion yuan in 2025, up 13.2 percent year on year and accounting for nearly a quarter of Guangzhou's total. The new cluster is expected to further boost the district's role as a gateway for global trade.
