Guangdong Province on March 15 launched the 2026 "Millions of Talents Gather in Guangdong" Initiative in Guangzhou, a program aimed at attracting over one million college graduates to work or start businesses in the province this year. 

As part of the year-long initiative, a large spring job fair opened the same day at Area D of the Canton Fair Complex and will last until March 16. Another major job fair will be held in Shenzhen in the autumn.

The fair is not only about employment. It also offers a window into the industries shaping the province's future. For many young professionals, coming to Guangdong may mean more than just finding a job. It could mean helping build the next wave of innovation emerging from China.
