Guo Yonghang, secretary of the CPC Guangzhou Municipal Committee, met with Doug DeVos, Co-Chair of the Board of Directors of Amway Corporation, and his delegation on December 6.

On behalf of the CPC Guangzhou Municipal Committee and the People's Government of Guangzhou Municipality, Guo extended a warm welcome to Doug DeVos and his delegation. He congratulated Amway (China) Co., Limited on its 30th anniversary and expressed gratitude to the company for its contributions to Guangzhou's economic and social development over the years. 

Guangzhou is working towards becoming a more vibrant global consumption center and a world-class central metropolis that combines historic charm with contemporary vitality. As consumption upgrades and health concepts evolve, there is an even broader scope for cooperation between the two sides. Amway (China) is hoped to increase investment in Guangzhou and develop more high-end fields, cutting-edge projects, new businesses and sectors in the city.

Mr. DeVos expressed his appreciation for Guangzhou's support over the years. He noted that Amway (China) will strengthen its long-term operations in the city and closely align with Guangzhou's 15th Five-Year Plan. The company will continue to expand its business by focusing on the health industry and will introduce more new technologies and products, achieving win-win cooperation and development.
