Guangzhou has entered the peak season for mosquito-borne diseases like dengue fever, according to the Guangzhou Center for Disease Control and Prevention (Guangzhou CDC). As of August 26, the following areas in Guangzhou are implementing measures to contain outbreaks of mosquito-borne diseases. Please take precautions to reduce mosquito populations.

The Guangzhou CDC urges residents living, working, or engaging in activities in the aforementioned areas to strengthen personal mosquito prevention measures. When going out, wear long-sleeved shirts and long pants, or apply mosquito repellent.
