As the early summer breeze carries the scent of blooming lotus, Baomo Garden (宝墨园) in Panyu District, Guangzhou, unveils its first wave of blooming early lotuses. From May 1 to 5, the garden will host the "Early Lotus Viewing Season." Set against the backdrop of the garden's unique Lingnan pavilions, visitors will enjoy stunning performances and interactive cultural experiences.

The highlight of the event is the innovative "sunken water curtain fountain stage," where performers create the illusion of walking on water, enhanced by a 15-meter circular water fountain and a blooming lotus flower centerpiece. The immersive live show will take place during the holiday, with two shows each day from 11:30 to 11:50 and 15:30 to 15:50.

In addition to the stunning show, visitors can participate in a poetry competition at 14:00 daily from May 1 to 5 for a chance to win cultural souvenirs. For shutterbugs, the garden offers several picturesque spots, from the lotus-themed art installations to the bonsai displays and the 1,000-square-meter "lotus wonderland."

To enhance the experience, the garden's restaurant will also serve special lotus-themed dishes, allowing visitors to savor the essence of the lotus while enjoying the picturesque scenery.
