Key reminders for overseas buyers registering at 137th Canton Fair
The 137th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) will grandly open on April 15, 2025. We sincerely welcome you to the Canton Fair!
Overseas buyers are required to present a Buyer Badge to enter the Canton Fair Complex. The overseas Buyer Badge can be used for multiple sessions. Please keep it properly.
The Canton Fair now issues the new QR code Buyer Badge. As part of our comprehensive service upgrading to enhance your attendee experience, buyers holding badges from previous sessions can obtain the new QR code Buyer Badge for free. Upon successful issuance of the new badge, your previous buyer badge will automatically be deactivated.
We highly recommend you apply for your Buyer Badge in advance (pre-register) and collect it before arriving at the Canton Fair Complex. Buyers holding Foreign Passports, Mainland Travel Permits for Hong Kong and Macao Residents, or Mainland Travel Permits for Taiwan Residents are advised to complete pre-registration at Alternative Registration Offices outside of the Canton Fair Complex, which are located at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, Guangzhou South Railway Station, Pazhou-Hong Kong-Macao Passenger Ferry Terminal, designated Canton Fair registration hotels and the Canton Fair Hong Kong Representative Office, (hereinafter referred to as Alternative Registration Offices). To save your time at the Registration Offices at the Complex, please obtain your Buyer's QR Code via pre-registration in advance to proceed directly to badge collection.
I. Eligibility
Buyers who hold one of the valid overseas personal identification below are eligible to apply for the overseas buyer badge.
Mainland Travel Permits for Hong Kong and Macao Resident.
Mainland Travel Permits for Taiwan Resident.
Chinese passport + overseas permanent residence permits/visa.
II. Required Documents
(1) Applicants must present the original copyof your valid overseas personal identification. Specifically: Foreign Passport, Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents, Mainland Travel Permit for Taiwan Residents, or valid identification for overseas Chinese (original copies of Chinese Passport + original overseas permanent residence permit or permanent residence visa).
III. Registration Locations
There are overseas buyer registration offices outside of the Canton Fair Complex and at the Complex.
(i) Overseas Buyer Registration Offices (outside the Canton Fair Complex)
1. Eligibility: This service is available to overseas buyers holding foreign passports, Mainland Travel Permits for Hong Kong and Macao Residents, or Mainland Travel Permits for Taiwan Residents. Buyers who hold Chinese passports + overseas permanent residence permits/visas) should collect your badges at On-site Registration Offices at the Canton Fair Complex.

Location: Service Desks at East and West Entrances, First Floor
Service Hours: April 13–16, April 21–24, April 30–May 2, from 10:00 to 21:00.
Pazhou-Hong Kong-Macao Passenger Ferry Terminal Registration Office
Location: Immigration, Third Floor
Service Hours: April 14–18, April 22–26, April 30–May 2, from 10:00 to 20:00.
Canton Fair Hong Kong Office Registration Office
Location: Room 3106-3107, Office Tower, Convention Plaza, No. 1 Harbour Road, Wanchai, Hong Kong
Service Hours: On weekdays throughout the year, from 10:00 to 12:30 and 14:00 to 17:00

Overseas Buyer Badge Application Process:
Step 1: Complete Pre-registration and Obtain the QR Code for Overseas Buyer Badge.
Step 2: Collect Your Overseas Buyer Badge.
Buyers holding original Foreign Passports, Mainland Travel Permits for Hong Kong and Macao Residents, or Mainland Travel Permits for Taiwan Residents, and who have already obtained your overseas buyer QR code, can collect your badge through the following two methods:
1. Self-Service Badge Printing Machine.Place the information page of your ID document on the machine’s scanning area. The system will quickly identify and verify your document. Once verified, your badge will be printed.
2. Badge Application Counter. Present your original ID document and Buyer’s QR Code at the badge application counter to collect your badge.
Buyers holding Chinese passports and original overseas permanent residence permits/visas should proceed directly to the badge application counters for ID document verification.
V. Buyer Badge Fee
Applying for, replacing, or renewing your badge is free of charge.
VI. Badge Application and Usage Regulations
(i) The Canton Fair has never authorized any third-party organizations or individuals to provide badge services. Aside from the official fees announced by the Canton Fair, no additional charges will be imposed. Please exercise caution and apply for your badge through official channels.
(ii) Applicants shall adhere to the principles of "responsibility lies with the applicant" and "responsibility lies with the user". All applicants shall comply with on-site registration management. Applicants must submit truthful information and materials and abide by related Canton Fair badge management regulations.
(iii) The Canton Fair operates on a "one person, one badge" basis. During any single session of the Canton Fair, each attendee is permitted only one valid badge. Badge holders must not engage in activities inconsistent with their badge type. The Canton Fair badge is solely for access to the Canton Fair Complex during the event and cannot be used for any other identification or guarantee purposes.
(iv) Badge holders shall comply with all Canton Fair regulations and adhere to the usage instructions printed on the badge. When entering and inside the Complex, your badge shall be worn visibly and correctly, with the photo side facing outward. Do not intentionally reverse or obscure the badge. Reselling, lending, counterfeiting, or altering Canton Fair badges is strictly prohibited. Using deactivated, invalid, expired badges, or badges belonging to others is forbidden. In case of loss, please promptly report to the Badge Service Center to have it deactivated.
(v) Badges of individuals in violation of these regulations will be handled in accordance with Measures for Handling Badge Violations by Personnel and Vehicles at China Import and Export Fair (Trial).
Overseas Buyer Registration Office at Designated Hotels for the 137th Canton Fair
I. List of Hotels (Hotels are listed in no particular order)
1. The hotel marked with 🔴 in above table, the nighttime service hours on April 14, 22 and 30 is 21:00- 7:00 the following day.
2. For application submitted during night shifts, the badge is to be reviewed and issued within daytime service hours of the next day.
3. The service details of hotels above-mentioned shall be subject to the latest information released on the Canton Fair official website.
