The Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holiday are just around the corner, and numerous parks in Guangzhou have prepared a myriad of vibrant activities to celebrate.

The Guangzhou Zoo is planning to host 80 events over eight days, introducing its newborn animals, such as baby red pandas, for the first time.

From Sept 28 to Oct 6, Yuexiu Park will launch a range of activities related to cultural creativity, intangible heritage, scientific education, floral lanterns, and scenic spots, aiming to immerse residents and tourists in the festive celebrations.

The Guangzhou Orchid Garden will invite residents and tourists to engage in traditional activities like mooncake DIY and making Chinese-style handcrafted fragrance pouches, paying homage to traditional culture. It will also showcase an exquisite orchid exhibition featuring 150 pots of 98 orchid varieties.

Undoubtedly, the meticulously planned "dual-festival" events in Guangzhou's major parks will provide residents and tourists with a memorable holiday experience.
