The Greater Bay Area Youth International Cultural Exchange Center (Yuexiu), GBAx, welcomed a young delegation from the University of Cambridge and the University of Oxford to participate in a deep dive into Guangzhou's rich culture.

This initiative is part of a broader strategy to foster the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area while also attracting international talents.

The delegation explored several of Guangzhou's historic and cultural landmarks, including Dongshankou's Kuiyuan, and the Beijing Road Intangible Cultural Heritage Block. Other sites, such as the traditional ceramics workshops, allowed the delegates to experience the city's historical culture and China's intangible cultural heritage.

The delegation also engaged in meaningful dialogue with local cultural inheritors, expressing a keen interest in deepening their understanding of China's intangible cultural heritage. This immersive cultural exchange significantly broadened the young delegation's understanding of Chinese culture, making positive contributions to the development of international cultural exchanges in the Greater Bay Area.
