The 12th China (Guangzhou) International Finance Expo came to a successful conclusion in Guangzhou on June 11, attracting a total of 283 financial institutions and 46,000 visitors.
Four new financial institutions and platforms were established at the expo, with 56 industrial and financial matchmaking project contracts being signed, accumulating a total amount of 357.32 billion yuan ($55.55 billion).
During this expo, Guangzhou established a 20-billion-yuan high-quality development fund for listed companies. This fund will support listed companies in mergers, acquisitions, and industrial transformation and upgrading.
The expo also held multiple forums to discuss the future development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The start date for the next China (Guangzhou) International Finance Expo was also released at the event, set for June 21 to 23, 2024.
