The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Art Center project, located in Liwan district of Guangzhou, is set to be completed by the end of 2023.

Comprising the Guangdong Art Museum, the Guangdong Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition Center, the Guangdong Literature Hall, and other related facilities, this project is recognized as a significant cultural endeavor in the Greater Bay Area.

Designed by He Jingtang, an academician at the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the center has a total construction area of 144,500 square meters and features a giant ceramic wheel design that occupies an area of 75,800 sq m.

The shared hall offers an excellent panoramic view of the river, with a curtain wall adorned with white ceramic plates and rods, creating a unique visual effect. The art center has also created an observation trail called the "Time Archway," which connects the Guangdong Art Museum and the Guangdong Literature Hall.

It is expected that by the end of 2023, the art center will open and provide the public with a rich and diverse artistic experience.
