Guangzhou Award summit discusses green cities

On Dec 13, the first and second sub-forums of the 2022 International Urban Innovation and Leadership Summit were held online under the themes of "Green Cities and Climate Change" and "Urban Heritage and Cultural Protection," respectively.

Representatives of the participating cities of the Guangzhou Award, heads of relevant international organizations, as well as experts and scholars discussed and shared their experiences, proposing innovative solutions.

The International Urban Innovation Leadership Summit is one of the important activities under the framework of the Guangzhou Award, aiming to make full use of the cooperation and exchange platform and entry cases of the Guangzhou Award, publicize and promote the latest achievements in the field of global urban governance, as well as further strengthen international exchanges and cooperation in terms of urban governance.

To date, the summit has been held on three occasions, attracting leaders and managers from dozens of cities and representatives of international organizations from countries related to the Belt and Road Initiative.
