Guangzhou rolls out policies to support headquarters enterprises

Nansha launched its 2022 economic policies to support headquarters enterprises on April 12, with more than 300 enterprises participating in.

Since the implementation of the Nansha headquarters enterprises policies, a total of 100 headquarters enterprises have been identified, with the headquarters of renowned enterprises like Cosco Shipping, GAC Toyota, and Wang Lao Ji, settling in the district.

Nansha provides various support to headquarters enterprises of different industrial types, said Yang Bin, tax executive partner of KPMG in South China.

Yang also noted that Nansha not only provides policies that benefit enterprises but also has a promising future with a good industrial foundation, making it attractive to domestic and overseas headquarters enterprises to invest there.

At the promotion meeting, the award conditions, application process, and notes of the Nansha district policies for headquarters enterprises were introduced in detail online.

Since 2018, Nansha has invested more than 15 billion yuan ($2 billion) to support the development of enterprises and talents, as well as to accelerate the construction of a modern industrial system including strategic emerging industries, future industries, and advanced manufacturing, and modern service industries.

According to the economic policy of Nansha headquarters enterprises, a maximum of 20 million yuan will be given to newly identified headquarters enterprises to settle in the district.

Enterprises will be rewarded with up to 95 percent of their contribution to Nansha's economy for five consecutive years, while senior management talents of enterprises can receive up to 100 percent of their economic contributions.
