To continue to deepen friendly exchanges and cooperation between Guangzhou and its international sister city Gwangju, South Korea, the two cities plan to carry out a series of exchange activities in music, art, as well as a culture this year.

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and South Korea. It is also the year of cultural exchanges between China and South Korea.

On April 7, the foreign affairs office of the Guangzhou municipal government, as well as the Guangzhou municipal bureau of culture, broadcasting, and tourism had a video meeting with Gwangju officials, discussing cooperation in a variety of activities, including holding the concert for Zheng Lyucheng and Xian Xinghai.
