The Guangzhou Pazhou Station of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Labor Disputed Joint Mediation Center unveiled its plaque on Dec 8 in Guangzhou's Haizhu district, becoming the only one of its kind in Guangzhou.

The center has been designed as an intelligent hub for mediation services, featuring various functions like preventive and early warning, consultation and guiding, mediation application, rapid mediation, remote assistance, as well as information sharing to promote the coordinated development of labor dispute mediation in the Greater Bay Area (GBA).

"Parties involved can choose mediation online or offline, and the handling period of a single case is normally no more than 45 days, while that for complicated cases is no more than 60 days," said Zheng Zeming, director of the station.

In addition, the first batch of mediators hired by the center also included those from Hong Kong and Macao to better serve companies or staff members from Hong Kong and Macao.
