The Consulate General of China in Barcelona held an online reception on Sept 29 to celebrate the 71st anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, gathering nearly 150 attendees including representatives of overseas Chinese and local officials.

Liu Baochun, director of the foreign affairs office of the Guangzhou municipal government, was invited to present a short video during the event.

Liu spoke highly of the friendly cooperation between Guangzhou and Barcelona in areas spanning regional communication, international activities and culture in the video.
