Guangzhou high school sends medical supplies to German sister school

Guangzhou No 6 High School sent a batch of medical supplies for the prevention and control of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), such as masks and protective suits, on April 1 to Max Beckmann High School in Frankfurt, Germany by DHL Express to address the serious COVID-19 epidemic situation in Germany.

Letters, cards, and videos in German were also sent to the school to show support and care from Guangzhou students.

Guangzhou No 6 High School and Max Beckmann High School established a sister school relationship in 2014 and the two schools have since been taking turns to hold exchange activities once a year, which involve more than 30 teachers and students every year.

With the support from the consulate general of Germany in Guangzhou and the foreign affairs offices of Guangzhou and Frankfurt, the supplies sent to Germany have been exempted from complicated clearance processes and expensive tariffs.
