The special police unit sent by Guangzhou to represent China for the 2019 World Police and Fire Games pocketed an individual championship and a group third place prize at a shooting event.   

The 2019 World Police and Fire Games made its Asian debut in Chengdu, capital of Southwest China's Sichuan province, on Aug 8. It will run until Aug 18.

Jin Xinquan, a female police officer from Guangzhou Public Security Bureau won first place in the Police Action Pistol (PAP) shooting event for individuals on Aug 10 and Fan Yanping, another female police officer, helped the Chinese team come in third place at the group event on Aug 12.
