With five races featuring horses ridden by some of the world's best jockeys and taught by world-class trainers, the event showcased both the high standards of Hong Kong horseracing and of Conghua's equestrian sports and tourism industry. It also demonstrated the potential of the Conghua Racecourse to boost the development of the equine industry in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, building on the success of Conghua's equine disease-free zone and cooperation between Conghua and Hong Kong in the cross-border transportation of horses.
