The 5th Good France, a global gourmet festival celebrating French gastronomy, will be held on March 21 and 12 restaurants from South China plan to participate in the event, according to a press conference held in Guangzhou on March 13.
Over 5,000 chefs are expected to participate in the festival and demonstrate their skills.
Siv Leng Chhuor, the consul general of France in Guangzhou, said the event will be dedicated to promoting French cooking techniques and French cuisine and spreading the French spirit of openness, inclusiveness, and the pursuit of excellence.
A special promotional event was also held during the press conference to promote the tourism industry in Provence, France.
