Exhibition displays public statues of Greater Bay Area

The Huangpu District Library in Guangzhou held a special exhibition on Jan 19, displaying the works of 60 renowned creators of public statues in cities of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

The exhibits include works by famous artists such as Pan He, Liang Mingcheng and Tang Daxi. The exhibition is held from Jan 19 to 28 in Huangpu, and will again be hosted at the Guangzhou Opera House until the end of March.

During the opening ceremony of the exhibition, artists and scholars proposed setting up the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Public Sculpture Development Alliance. The alliance would be dedicated to the creation of public sculptures, research, exhibitions and exchanges.
