The 15th Guangdong Dance Festival ended in a dazzling modern dance show jointly performed by Guangdong Modern Dance Company and Footnote New Zealand Dance Company on Nov 22.

Established in 2004, the annual Guangdong Dance Festival features both performances and educational elements. Every year, it attracts professional modern dancers from all over the world, as well as students and audiences who love modern dance. So far, hundreds of famous modern dance troupes from home and abroad have performed at the Guangdong Dance Festival, bringing hundreds of works in different styles and themes to both theatres and public spaces.

The 15th Guangdong Dance Festival was held by the Guangdong Provincial Culture and Tourism Department from Nov 11 to 22. It presented more than 30 performances by artists from nine countries and 18 different cities and areas. The festival also offered multiple master classes by eight experienced tutors to cultivate audience interest in modern dance.

The festival carried out a "Dance @ community" event to communicate with the masses and explore the combination of modern dance and different artistic techniques.
