The students, separated into nine groups, will be completing five or seven-week internships in some of Guangzhou's state-owned enterprises and industry leaders.
The unique program was organized by the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of Guangdong, the Hong Kong Home Affairs Bureau and the Commission on Youth. Since first undertaken by the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of Guangzhou's municipal government, the program has bridged over 1,000 Hong Kong students with Guangzhou enterprises, providing an opportunity for Hong Kong students to learn about the city's economic development, cultural innovations and its key role in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
