Event scouting for innovative enterprises to be held in Guangzhou

The press conference for the second Delta Creativity and Innovation Celebration (2017 DCIC), an event aimed at scouting for innovative enterprises in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area was held in Sino-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City on Sept 15.

Jean Jacques Verdun, founder of international public relations and marketing agency San Jiao Ling and, Ng Kok Siong, president of Sino-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City Investment and Development and representatives of enterprises and overseas chamber of commerce attended the event.

At the press conference, the attendees talked about issues including the economic challenges faced by the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, how to promote regional cooperation and communication and how to help enterprises develop their innovation ability.

A total of 160 enterprises including 40 overseas ones will participate in the 2017 DCIC, competing against each other in eight areas including information technology, healthcare and biotechnology as well as intellectual technology and advanced manufacturing.

According to Verdun, the 2017 DCIC will continue to serve as a platform for innovative talents and enterprises to give full play to their potentials and lure more leading enterprises in the world to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Ng said the Sino-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City has been home to a myriad of innovative projects and the knowledge city hoped to attract more overseas talents and enterprises through 2017 DCIC by showcasing the achievement by the companies that have already settled in.
