On June 20, the Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Public Security, General Administration of Customs and General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine all approved the scheme to support yachts from Hong Kong and Macao, giving them "free travel" to the China (Guangdong) Pilot Free Trade Zone.

The scheme makes it much easier and faster for yachts from Hong Kong and Macao to be inspected by the entry-exit administration. A range of innovations have been made in terms of customs clearance, supervision and inspection.

The "free travel" for yachts from Hong Kong and Macao to China (Guangdong) Pilot Free Trade Zone will boost the yacht industry in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, enrich tourism routes and further promote the construction of a world-class tourism zone in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, according to a spokesperson of Guangzhou customs.
