About PBP:

PBP was originally a 1,230-km bicycle race running from Paris to Brest and back again. It was started by Frenchman Pierre Giffard in 1891. It later gained wider attention and became an official international race held every four years organized by Audax Club Parisien (ACP).

After running for more than 100 years, PBP has become the largest, most challenging and influential cycling race in the world.

PBP has gained increasing popularity since it was introduced to China in 2009. More than 20 cities around China have set up a PBP center to organize related races.

PBP has organized 84 qualifying trials and 110 tournaments, covering over 50 Chinese cities with a total route length of more than 400,000 km and over 80 million cyclists taking part.
