Guangzhou pastry museum teaches Lingnan baking

Nestled in Guangzhou's Zhujiang Food Industry Park, China's first Guangdong-style pastry museum is an integrated place for visitors to involve themselves in Lingnan food culture and learn the process of how to make their own Lingnan cakes.

The museum opened to the public in 2014, and by the end of 2015 was integrated into the industrial tourism of Zhujiang Impression.

The 800-square-meter museum is widely popular among all age groups, showcasing a reproduced traditional Lingnan-style architecture and several sections, including Lingnan culture and food culture, ingredients and techniques and products to offer visitors a full view of Guangdong-style pastry.

The museum also offers a special area for families or groups to create their own cookies, cakes, bread and moon cakes, an opportunity to taste Guangdong-style cakes and experience the joys of baking.
