As China's first home audio and visual fair, HAVF is at the vanguard of the industry; the products on show there are some of the newest, best and most innovative on the market today. The event, held in March and August biannually, provides the perfect platform for domestic and overseas companies to get their products into wider markets worldwide.

On display this year were just that – displays of every kind from liquid crystal to 5K. Tablets, curved and flexible screens, speakers, smart home entertainment systems and even an explosion-proof TV were sights for eager eyes.

A particular buyer favorite was a new line of smart TVs which are able to be used as karaoke entertainment systems. Other debuts an 18-inch wireless portable speaker as well as a speaker which integrates a remote microphone.

Home-grown favorites included Guangdong Deyuan Technology Co Ltd, who provided a refreshing take on the smart home entertainment system. Its independently developed system was featured at a visitor experience center.

The HAVF also witnessed the signing of a strategic cooperation framework between Huadu District Electronics Industry Association and China Arab Development Association. The latter had organized purchasers from the Middle East and Russia to attend the fair. The association said it would organize networking meetings between factories and purchasers at regular intervals to develop the international market.

The HAVF provides an integrated platform for China's audio-visual industry, allowing enterprises to converge nationwide, and attracting businesses to Huadu district, according to Liu Jianjia, president of Huadu District Electronics Industry Association.
