As spring nears, many beautiful flowers in the Frankfurt Garden, in Guangzhou's Liuhuahu Park, have begun to bloom.

Guangzhou and Frankfurt, Germany, became Friendship Cities on April 11, 1988, and this year marks the 35th anniversary of friendship between the two cities.

During this period, the two sides have continued to deepen friendly exchanges in various fields such as economy and trade, culture, education, sports, and youth exchanges. They have also enhanced friendship and mutual understanding between the people of the two places.

The Frankfurt Garden was a gift from Frankfurt, Germany, to Guangzhou on its 2,210th birthday.

Recently, the Frankfurt Garden has been upgraded, and now has several areas with various Chinese Roses in full blossom.

There are now 11 new varieties of Chinese Roses found in the garden, which brings the total count to about 3,600.

People are encouraged to visit the Frankfurt Garden in spring, as the weather is moderate and the flowers are breathtaking.
