GZFAO | Updated:2022-05-16

On May 13, Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport resumed steady operations with a total of 300 scheduled inbound and outbound flights.

As this wave of epidemic has been effectively controlled, some restaurants and retail stores at Baiyun Airport have reopened.

To enter the airport, passengers need to have:

For outbound travelers: Green health code + normal body temperature (For those traveling to Beijing, negative 48-hour COVID-19 test result and a green code in the "Beijing Jiankang Bao" app are also needed.)

For inbound travelers:

1) From the low-risk areas: Green health code + normal body temperature

2) From medium and high-risk areas: green health code + normal body temperature+ on-site COVID-19 test

After arriving at T1 through Gate W3, passengers on domestic flights can leave right after the sample is taken on the spot.

Those taking international flights will arrive at T2 and receive closed-loop management throughout the whole arrival process as required for inbound international flights.

During the pandemic prevention and control, Baiyun Airport intensified its efforts to disinfect the terminal buildings and separated the entry of domestic and international flights to T1 and T2 respectively.

Besides, the contact-less elevators and free hand sanitizer at the terminal gates, departure and arrival halls, information counters and self-service check-in counters also ensured a better traveling experience for passengers.

From April 29 to May 13, 26 rounds of COVID-19 tests were conducted for more than 10,000 airport staff. And the antigen test was added starting from April 30. All the test results were negative.
