Guangzhou COVID-19 Update for May 10

On May 10, Guangzhou reported 1 local asymptomatic case, 1 imported confirmed case, and 4 imported asymptomatic cases. Six COVID-19 patients have been newly discharged, while 155 still remain in the hospital.

As of 24:00 May 10, 2022, a total of 5,707 positive cases have been reported in the city. These include 2,794 confirmed cases (1,848 imported cases and 946 local cases) and 2,913 asymptomatic cases (2,657 imported cases and 256 local cases).

Notification of Readjustments to the Lockdown, Partial Lockdown and Restricted Zones in Baiyun District (No. 46)

Based on the comprehensive assessment of the current COVID-19 situation and the differentiated management measures, the lockdown, partial lockdown and restricted zones in Baiyun District are hereby adjusted as follows:

I. No. 6, 8, 13, 15, 16 and 17 of the 7th Lane, Qingyun Street, Henan Middle Road; No. 6 and 8 of the 3rd Lane, Fuxiang Street, Helong subdistrict have been adjusted as partial lockdown zones.

II. The whole area of Gaozeng Village; Grid No. 10 (Yahu Village); Grid No. 24 (Daxiang Village); Grid No. 34 (Mingxing Village), Renhe Town have been adjusted as restricted zones.

III. No. 15 of the Datian East 16th Lane, Grid No. 7 (Donghua Village), Renhe Town has been adjusted as partial lockdown zone.

IV. The lockdown zones in Grid No. 4 (No. 25, 27, 29, 31, 33, 37, 41, 51, 53, 55, 59 and 61 of Huarong West Street; No. 3 - No. 11 1st Lane, Xianbian West Street in the north, No. 3 1st Lane - No. 6 3rd Lane, Xianbian West Street in the east, No. 6 - No. 12 3rd Lane, Xianbian West Street in the south and No. 11 1st Lane - No. 12 3rd Lane, Xianbian West Street in the west, Renhe village), Renhe Town have been adjusted as partial lockdown zones.

V. Containment measures in other lockdown and partial lockdown zones in the district will remain in place as required by Baiyun District COVID-19 Control and Prevention Command Center.

The new adjustments herein will take effect from the issue date of this notification.
