At the site of China Railway Guangzhou Bureau Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou) Project Department, red lanterns and red Chinese character Fu formed a festive Chinese New Year atmosphere for Hong Kong and Macao youths in Nansha on Jan 25.

Hong Kong and Macao youths made Youjiao, traditional Guangzhou sweet peanut dumplings, with the guidance of Nansha locals while discussing how to spend the Spring Festival holiday.

A Hong Kong youth in Nansha wrote Fu with his father in Hong Kong simultaneously via video, achieving a round of applause from other youths from Hong Kong and Macao. Then he started to write Spring Festival scrolls following Nansha calligraphers and painters.

"This is my second time celebrating the Spring Festival in Nansha, the new year atmosphere is quite good, the entrepreneurial and living environment are very suitable for Hong Kong youths, so more and more young people like me from Hong Kong chose to carry out businesses in Nansha," he said.

At the celebration party of the Chinese New Year on the same day, the young people from Hong Kong and Macao recited Chinese New Year nursery rhymes together, led by the host to enjoy new experiences.
