Guangzhou and Tivat, Montenegro signed a memorandum to strengthen communication and cooperation, making Tivat a new friendly city of Guangzhou, officials from the foreign affairs office of Guangzhou municipal government announced on Sept 22.

Friendly communication in areas spanning economy, trade, technology, education, tourism, culture, sports and health will be carried out between the two cities. 

Tivat is a coastal town located in southwest Montenegro, which boasts splendid scenery and a pleasant climate. It also has rich natural and cultural resources as well as strong shipping industry.
