Guangzhou has now clustered 44 innovation and entrepreneurship bases for Hong Kong and Macao youths, as well as more than 600 project teams, covering over 20 fields including advanced technologies, e-commerce, and biomedicine, Nanfang Plus reported on Oct 9.

As the core hub for the regional development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Guangzhou has been devoting continuous efforts in offering all-around services for the development of Hong Kong and Macao youths in Guangzhou.

The city has taken the lead in releasing the first comprehensive policy document to support Hong Kong and Macao youths' development among all Greater Bay Area cities in the Chinese mainland. A total of 18 plans and detailed implementation rules have been put forward at both the municipal and district levels, covering various areas spanning base construction, as well as preferential individual income taxation and housing.

More demonstrative innovation and entrepreneurship bases for Hong Kong and Macao youths in Guangzhou will be cultivated and the first batch of five municipal demonstrative bases has been rewarded with 1 million yuan ($148,203.35) each every year.

The Guangzhou Tianhe Hong Kong and Macao Youth Association Headquarters currently can hold more than 100 innovation and entrepreneurship companies, offering services for more than 7,000 Hong Kong and Macao youths, as well as helping 140 companies set up by Hong Kong and Macao youths settle down in Guangzhou.
