Liu Baochun, director of the foreign affairs office of the Guangzhou municipal government, met with the delegation led by Shuki Gleitman in Guangzhou on Sept 11.

Gleitman is the former director general and chief scientist of Israel's Ministry of Industry and Trade, as well as the chairman of the Guangzhou Sino-Israel Biotech Investment Fund.

Opinions were exchanged between the two sides in areas like enhancing the friendly relations of cooperation and exchange between Guangzhou and Tel Aviv, as well as Israel to push forward the cooperation between Guangzhou and Israel in fields spanning scientific innovation and health care.
