The 2020 Guangzhou International Food Festival opened on Sept 10 and will last for over three months this year to fully showcase the charm of Guangzhou's gourmet food.
Having been previously held 20 times, the festival usually lasts for only 10 days, but this year's edition will run until the end of December, with both online and offline activities being held.
The festival's main activities are scheduled to be held from Oct 30 to Nov 8. The main venue will be set up in Clifford Wonderland in Guangzhou's Panyu district, while sub-venues will be set up in all other districts in the city.
The first official food evaluation system of Guangzhou will be released after the main activities ends on Nov 8 in the forms of lists, maps, and guides. The outcomes will be promoted and showcased at major city entry points like Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport and Guangzhou South Railway Station to further expand the influence of the festival.
